About Nicola:

Nicola Nice is the CEO and Founder of Pomp & Whimsy, an award-winning gin liqueur made by women, for women. A sociologist by training, Nicola spent the last 15 years of her career in consumer insights and brand consulting. She specializes in marketing to the female consumer and works with international brands in the liquor, fashion and personal care industries.

During this time, Nicola became increasingly frustrated at the lack of representation of women in the spirits industry, but particularly as consumers. How many successful spirits brands can you name that are actively targeted towards women? So, in 2017 she launched Pomp & Whimsy, a fun, light, modern gin liqueur that has been developed with women's needs and palates in mind. In 2018, Pomp & Whimsy was named a “Top 100 Spirit of 2018” by Wine Enthusiast magazine, and the brand has been featured in the likes of Vogue, Forbes and The Robb Report.

Taking this one step further, Pomp & Whimsy is currently leading a collaborative effort within the industry to raise the voices and profile of women makers. Aptly named the "Women’s Cocktail Collective", they are working together to help each other's businesses through combined sales, marketing, and PR initiatives in an effort to prove that ""We are stronger together!
