About Gene:

A jack of all trades, Gene Clemons decided that education was the avenue to share his gifts. Over the past 16 years, he has taught English, Journalism, and Drama in the classroom while also coaching football, basketball, and track. He is currently the head football coach at H.V. Jenkins High School in Savannah, Georgia.

Gene has simultaneously pursued his passion for journalism, writing for publications like the Worcester Telegram and Gazette in Massachusetts, the Bridgton News in Maine, the Urbana Daily Citizen in Ohio, the Macon Telegraph in Georgia and Footballgameplan.com. He currently writes for Giantscountry.com a Sports Illustrated affiliate that covers the New York Giants. He recently started a YouTube channel "Coach Gene Clemons" dedicated to all things football coaching and evaluation.
