The Women's Collective: Intersectionality Through Feminism

  • AMIGA WILD 2124 Lincoln Boulevard Venice, CA, 90291 United States (map)

In partnership with The Caffeinated Cork: The Women's Collective; a talk series that goes deep.

“If we are going to band together in our fight to end sexism and sexist oppression, then those in the center must recognize their own privilege and look to those in the margins for solutions.” - MaryBeth Omido

Together with Kirstin Jones, Founder of The Caffeinated Cork, I’ll be co-leading a discussion on intersectionality through feminism and how white women must come forward to amplify the voices of our black and brown sisters. True feminism and equality can never happen if it doesn’t happen for all of us, and we aim to discuss ways we can help make that happen in this circle. Bring your questions and an open mind and heart.
