About Emily:
Emily Musil Church is the Executive Director of the Global Learning XPRIZE, and also works on education and outreach for the Foundation. XPRIZE is a nonprofit organization that uses large-scale global incentive competitions to crowdsource solutions to the world's grand challenges. Prior to joining XPRIZE, she spent over a decade in academia where as a professor she specialized in African history, human rights, and women’s global issues. Dr. Church has a Ph.D. from UCLA, and serves on the OECD’s Senior Advisory Group for Blended Finance and the Advisory Board of the Center for Technology & Workforce Solutions.
