Before starting Tovala, David worked for the co-founder of Veggie Grill and then ran Groovy Spoon—a bi-coastal chain of frozen yogurt stores. While earning his MBA from Chicago Booth, he also worked at Google and Foundation Capital. He lives in Chicago with his wife, Jessica and their fish, Bob. He uses his Tovala 15 times per week.
